LITTLE PEBBLES

Little Pebbles, for babies, pre-schoolers and their carers, meets every Tues from 10-11.30am during term-time in the Cottages.

Sunday 2nd November, 3pm

The names of those who have died in the past 2 years will be read out. If you would like the name of a loved one read out at this service, please add them to the list at the back of church. During the service, there will also be an opportunity to light a candle in their memory. There will be refreshments afterwards. See website for more details.

The British Legion Poppies and collection box are at the back of church and will be available on Sundays.

JUNIOR CHURCH

Children – pre-schoolers and juniors – There are things to do in the children’s area each week in church.

A big thank you to all those who contributed to the Harvest Festival. I took 117.4kgs down to CCP. We also received 26kgs from St Stephen’s so a big thank you to them as

High School Leckhampton is delighted to host its second Christmas tea party for senior citizens in our local community. There is no charge, and carers are welcome.

If you know someone who would like to attend, please inform them about this event and use the form below to register, or email the parish office (parishofficeleck@gmail.com) by Thu 13th Nov.

Leaflets for sending shoeboxes of small gifts to some of the marginalised folk of Eastern Europe are now available at the back of church. Completed shoeboxes can be left in church and will be collected after the 10am Sunday services. The last Sunday for collection will be 2nd Nov. RRepairs to the organ are now complete following water damage caused by Storm Boris last September, and the church has now reopened during the week. Many thanks to David Webber for leading on the repairs and liaising with all of the relevant parties to get this fine instrument repaired.

Revd Rob Atkin will be moving on from Emmanuel Network Church to undertake the next stage of his curacy at Holy Apostles Church. His final Sunday here will be 16-Nov ahead of joining Holy Apostles, under the supervision of Revd Ashley Collishaw, on 7-Dec. We give thanks for Rob’s ministry within the South Cheltenham Team and wish him, Becky and Lottie every blessing for this next season.

A chance for all who attend our youth activities and Churches (e.g. Tuesday youth, ENC Youth, Youth in a Pod, Boy’s Group, School CU groups, St Peter’s Choir) to gather for a fun weekend of building on friendships, making memories, and opportunities for worship & exploring faith together.
