An ‘ordinand’ is some who is being trained to be a member of the clergy. Please keep Sarah Wood, Melissa Webb and Shaun Locke in your prayers as they start their new academic years at Theology College, as they train and prepare for ordination.

ALL SAINTS UNITED

The next First Sunday Special is All Saints United on Sun 2nd Nov at 10am. Do come along in your favourite team’s colours or kit as we celebrate that we’re all part of God’s team!

Little Pebbles, for babies, pre-schoolers and their carers, meets every Tues from 10-11.30am during term-time in the Cottages.

JUNIOR CHURCH

Children – pre-schoolers and juniors – There are things to do in the children’s area each week in church.

Our next meeting is a talk by Christine Whittemore entitled Mr Jenkins’s Ante-Diluvian Repository, and other curiosities of 1850s Leckhampton and Cheltenham. Free for LLHS members and under-18s, visitors £3 – all welcome!

Sunday 2nd November, 3pm

The names of those who have died in the past 2 years will be read out. If you would like the name of a loved one read out at this service, please add them to the list at the back of church. See website for more details.

Leaflets for sending shoeboxes of small gifts to some of the marginalised folk of Eastern Europe are now available at the back of church. Completed shoeboxes can be left in church and will be collected after the 10am Sunday services. The last Sunday for collection will be 2nd Nov. Repairs to the organ are taking place during October to repair water damage caused by Storm Boris last September. Sunday worship will be led on the piano and with a brass section. Unfortunately, due to health & safety reasons, the church will be closed during the day whilst the work is undertaken.

The British Legion Poppies and collection box are at the back of church and will be available on Sundays.
