RE-ORDERING OF THE CHURCH BUILDING
The final phase of re-ordering will take place between 8-Jan and 15-Mar, during which time the church will be closed. Please see info sheet with details of services during that time.
PARISH OFFICE OPEN
The Parish Office will be open on Thu 18th Jan 9.30am-1.30pm if you need to visit in person.
DATE FOR YOUR DIARIES
There will be a special performance of Stainer’s Crucifixion at 6pm on Passion Sunday (17th March) to celebrate our return to St. Peter’s.

CCP FOOD COLLECTIONS
Many thanks to all who have given to CCP over 2023, whether this is by items left in the box in the porch, or direct monetary contributions.
During December a total of 64.7kgs of food and an additional 24.6kgs of items in the Hamper Scamper box was taken to CCP. The grand total for the year which also includes regular items collected during the Lent appeal, the Harvest Festival & Hamper Scamper amounts to 969.3kgs. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by CCP and the recipients of your gifts.
Whilst St Peter’s is closed for reordering, the CCP collection box will be found in the entrance hall to the Cottages. Please contact Gilly gilly_whittingham@btinternet.com if you would like to arrange a home collection.

MIDWEEK HOLY COMMUNION
The next midweek Holy Communion will be at 10.30am on Tue 16th Jan at St. Christopher’s and will be followed by refreshments. More info here.
FRIDAY LUNCH WITH FRIENDS
The lunches in the autumn raised £292 for the Children’s Society thanks to generous donations. The next lunch is on Fri 26th Jan, 12.30-2pm at
1 Vineries Close. Please come and join us for a lite bite!

The Craft Group meets on Wednesdays at 10am in the
Cottages. All are welcome to join, even if just for a ‘cuppa’ and a chat.

Churchyard Maintenance
If you can spare an hour or two every so often, to help with grass cutting and other jobs around the churchyard, then please let Brad know via the Parish Office.
St Catherine Tree Planting
The rowan tree planting in the churchyard has been delayed – we will let you know a new planting date shortly.

The Jan issue of the Parish Magazine is now available. Please send any items for inclusion in the Feb issue to David Webber by 20th Jan.
SHAKESPEARE & RELIGION

There is a 10am service at all of the other churches each Sunday; there is also an 8am Holy Communion service at Pip & Jim’s on a 1st Sunday and at Emmanuel on a 3rd Sunday.
