PRAYER FOR THE PEOPLE OF VENEZUELA
Loving God,
When the earth trembles and homes fall to dust, hold our hearts, God.
When grief shakes families to the core, hold our hearts, God.
Send our hands and feet to help however we can.
Our sisters and brothers in Venezuela live this now.
God of love and mercy, may we match your love in the way we respond – now.

Please can you ensure the gates, which lead into the cottages, are pulled shut behind you on a Sunday after the service, to ensure any children playing in the garden are not able to run out into the drive way.

LITTLE PEBBLES
Little Pebbles, for babies, pre-schoolers and their carers, meets every Tues 10-11.30am during term-time in the Cottages.
CHOIR – CALLING BASSES!
The choir is keen to find more bass singers to join their ranks. If you would like to hear more, please contact Kit via the Parish Office.


PILGRIM PRAYER WALK
Tues 21st July, 10.30am at the Cottages
There are 12 places to join in a ‘pilgrimage prayer walk’ around St Peter’s churchyard. We will stop at significant sites to reflect on a current Christian theme in today’s world. Please be aware that some surfaces are uneven and narrow. Benches are at some stations should you need to sit. The walk lasts approximately 1 hour. Meet in the cottages 10.30am for a 10.45am start. Climate Emergency Film
Tues 28th July, 7pm at P&J GL50 2DD
Free screening of a new film, introduced by Chris Packham, which explains the latest science about the extent of the climate emergency we are facing, and what we can do. The film offers a concise, evidence-based overview from experts across areas including climate, food, health, economics, national security and extreme weather.
It will be a useful chance to hear directly from experts, reflect together, and discuss what it may mean for all of us and our communities. The film lasts 50 minutes, and there will be the opportunity for a short discussion afterwards. To book and see full details, go to: http://bit.ly/4vaTgkk
