PRAYERS FOR PEACE
Please pray for peace in the Holy Land and a de-escalation of tensions, and an end to war in Ukraine and Gaza.
God of peace, in this time of sorrow and reflection, we come to you with heavy hearts for the lives lost and the pain endured. Be with those who mourn, with those who live in fear, with those longing for justice and safety. May your peace dwell where there is brokenness. Amen.

CCP & LENT FOOD COLLECTIONS
Over the past few years there has been a special Lent appeal for CCP. The idea is that during the run up to Easter, instead of giving something up for Lent, an item of food is donated to CCP for each day. The response to this in previous years has been very positive, so if you are able, please join in again this year.
Donations can be left in the church porch or contact Gilly (email below) if you would like to arrange a home collection.
Many thanks, Gilly Whittingham.

Connect with God’s creation over Lent
The 40-day Lent period before Easter gives us the opportunity to reflect on the practice of fasting and commit to giving up something that brings a real benefit to nature and helps address climate change. Go to https://arocha.org.uk/connect-with-our-creator-and-gods-creation-during-lent/ for ideas to use as a church, as a family or as an individual.
Vision 21 Repair Café
Sat 5th April, 10am-1pm, St Andrew’s, Montpellier
Bring in your broken items for repair, e.g. textiles, knife sharpening, electrical goods, bric-a-brac. Sit with volunteers as they carry out the repairs, picking up valuable, life long skills meaning fewer items being discarded as ‘unfixable’. We may not beable to repair everything brought to the cafe, but we will give it a try. No charge, but donations are welcome.
