ECO CHURCH NOTICES

Click here for this month’s green/eco tips

Creation Season 1 Sep – 4 Oct

Today, whatever your job, consider that first calling, to look after the world, its animals and the next generation of humans. How are you fulfilling that calling?
Lord, help us to do small things that produce big change. Where possible, enable us to share resources fairly, campaign for better ecology
and animal welfare, nurture young people and leave the world a better place. Amen.

Churchyard Maintenance

Please contact Brad via the Parish Office if you can spare an hour or two every so often, to help with grass cutting and other jobs.

Fairtrade Fortnight – 9-22 September

This year the FAIRTRADE Mark celebrates 30 years of existence in the UK. This means 30 years of farmers using the power of Fairtrade to drive positive change in their communities. Watch this space for further information about upcoming events taking place over these 2 weeks.

There will be an evening concert at St Peter’s on Sun 22nd Sep at 6pm.

“Speak up for people who cannot speak for themselves. Protect the rights of all who are
helpless.” (Proverbs 31.8)

Thank you to all of those who have responded to my reminders about safeguarding training. For those who prefer face to face training (rather than on-line), the Basic Awareness safeguarding course is
being run at Pip & Jim’s on Thu 12th Sep at 10am in the Raven Pod.
If you would like to attend this course, please contact St Peter’s Parish Office.
If you have been asked to complete safeguarding training, please let the Parish Office know
when you have completed it.

The Autumn card and Friends of St. Peter’s bundles are at the back of
church for delivery. There are a number of “unclaimed” roads, so do
pick one up if you are able.
Thank you for your help once again in delivering the card bundles to every
household in the parish!
