The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) for St. Peter’s will take place on
Thu 8th May at 7.30pm in the church.

CCP & LENT FOOD COLLECTIONS
A big thank you to everyone you contributed to this year’s CCP Lent Appeal, a total of 100.3kgs of donations was delivered to CCP.

SAFEGUARDING TRAINING BASIC AWARENESS COURSE

Andrew Mallin-Jones (Parish Safeguarding Officer at Pip & Jim’s) is running a Basic Awareness Course if you would prefer to do your safeguarding training face to face.

LITTLE PEBBLES
Little Pebbles, for babies, pre-schoolers and their carers, meets every Tuesday from 10-11.30am during term-time in the Cottages. The next session will be on Tue 29th April.


JUNIOR CHURCH
Children – pre-schoolers and juniors – There are things to do in the children’s area each week in church.
The next First Sunday special is Spring Planting on 4th May. Come along to make bugs! After the service come along to the Cottages for free pots and seeds to plant!

Connect with God’s creation over Lent
The 40-day Lent period before Easter gives us the opportunity to reflect on the practice of fasting and commit to giving up something that brings a real benefit to nature and helps address climate change. Calling all gardeners!
Members of the church ECO group will be holding a Plant Share/Give away on Sunday 4th May (see posters). Please think about saving any surplus plants you may have divided and any seeds you have not used that are still in date. Flowers and vegetables will be welcome. The event will be held in the cottage gardens after the 10am service. Please contact Joey Kerr-Wilson on joeykwilson@aol.com / 01242 578 575 if you are able to contribute.
Churchyard Maintenance
Please contact Brad via the Parish Office if you can spare an hour or two every so often, to help with grass cutting and other jobs.

There will be a service of Confirmation at St. Peter’s at 3pm on Sun 22nd June 2025 with Bishop Rachel.
(Please note the change of start time to 3pm, rehearsal for all those being confirmed at 2pm).
