LIBYA FLOODS and MOROCCO EARTHQUAKE
Please pray for the thousands of people who have lost loved ones, homes, are injured and in need of urgent emergency assistance. We also remember the rescue workers and those who are working to alleviate people’s suffering.

The new edition by Eric Miller will be launched in the Cottages on Sun 1st Oct after the 10am service. Don’t miss out!
JUNIOR CHURCH
Children – pre-schoolers and juniors – There are things to do in
the carpeted area and on the activities table each week in church.
The next first Sunday service is Harvest
on 1 October.

South Cheltenham Youth is for secondary school age young people.

SHOEBOX APPEAL 2023
This year’s appeal is now under way. Last year the charity delivered over 26,000 Christmas shoeboxes to some of the most impoverished people in Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania and Ukraine. If you’d like to contribute a shoebox of small gifts, please pick up a leaflet (one per shoebox) from the back of church or download here. The leaflet provides full instructions for filling and sealing your shoebox, but if you need more information, see www.linktohope.co.uk, or contact Steve Whittingham (07514 986386 or steve_whittingham@btinternet.com). Completed shoeboxes will be collected from church up to and including Sun 29th Oct.

ANNA CHAPLAINCY
CaBiC Anna Chaplaincy is going to be running the national Anna Chaplaincy training course in Cheltenham and Bishop’s Cleeve for people who are interested in becoming involved in the ministry of Anna Chaplaincy to older people in the local area. The course will run over 6 weeks, beginning on Mon 23rd Oct and is designed to cover the broad scope of Anna Chaplaincy.
