Creation Season 1 Sep – 4 Oct

Today, whatever your job, consider that first calling, to look after the world, its animals and the next generation of humans. How are you fulfilling that calling?
Lord, help us to do small things that produce big change. Where possible, enable us to share resources fairly, campaign for better ecology
and animal welfare, nurture young people and leave the world a better place. Amen.

Rowan Williams will be known to many. Pete Atkin’s name is not so familiar perhaps, but for many years he had a critically successful song writing partnership with the poet Clive James; a relationship to which both returned in the latter years of James’s life.

The evening will consist of conversation between both about the power of words in poetry and song, combined with each reciting their own poetry (Rowan) or singing from their songbook (Pete).

Tickets £12 (£6 for under 25s) available through Pip & Jim’s – See posters or go to Pip&Jim’s Churchsuite
