Fairtrade Shea Butter

The growth of Fairtrade shea butter in West Africa means more women entrepreneurs upping their income, investing in their communities and coming together to stand up for women’s rights. Shea butter is an ingredient in many everyday beauty, wellness and cosmetic products, including sunscreen, lipstick and soaps, so there’s opportunities for all sorts of companies to be part of this story.
Can you ask your favourite beauty brand to start using Fairtrade shea butter?
‘Tag’ the brand on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter to invite them to make their product even more ethical! Not sure how to ‘tag’ or not on social media? Visit the Fairtrade Foundation webpage to find out how to get involved.

And finally…

This Sunday, 18th June, is Father’s Day when we think about either our own fathers, or those who have played a father-like role in our lives.

Father’s Day is often full of mixed emotions, led by the experiences each of us have had; do pray, therefore, that God our Father, will bless all in their joy or sadness today. Revd Gary.
