Trustee vacancy for Cheltenham and Bishops Cleeve Anna Chaplaincy
CaBiC is a Christian charity, which works to provide spiritual care for older people of all faiths and none in Cheltenham and Bishop’s Cleeve as part of the Anna Chaplaincy Network.
We are a growing organisation but find that the need for our services is growing even faster.
We would welcome an additional Trustee(s) with expertise in any of the areas of marketing (particularly using social media), fundraising or IT.
We currently have four Trustee meetings a year and there are opportunities for more frequent involvement in the project. Please contact Brian Dunlop at dogcollar@dunlopost.co.uk or call 01242 580731 for an informal conversation or even coffee and cake!
Could you be a Street Pastor?
Street Pastors are volunteers from local churches of all denominations and walks of life. They serve as the church in action on the streets of Cheltenham every weekend and on other specific times as events occur.
Caring, listening and helping, they provide a loving presence on the streets, without judgement, to those who need support.
Recruits are interviewed, invited to observe a patrol before receiving extensive training and being commissioned.
We are a friendly and supportive group and would love you to join us. We also welcome Prayer Pastors to support the Street Pastors either from home or the Cheltenham base.
