Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good;
his love is eternal.
Why is it important to give thanks to God?

How do we give thanks?
We can thank God directly through our prayers
- Thank God continuously throughout your day.
- Offer a special prayer of thanks after good things have happened
- Give thanks for God’s love even when you’re having trouble counting the blessings in your life.
We can show our gratitude by helping others
- Use your talents to help others, perhaps to help people who are less fortunate than you.
- Try not to feel proud or entitled about what you have.
- Tell other people about God.
